The following press release was posted by the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office on Monday morning:

“Effective today we are temporarily suspending all fingerprint services and on site visitation (with the exception of attorneys and probation/parole officers).

This is being done in response to the recent spike in COVID19 cases.

We will notify you when we resume normal operations.”
