FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 60-year old Rome woman was jailed Sunday on a felony warrant charging her with theft by taking.

According to the warrant, Rita Carol Ledbetter of a Worsham Street address took 130 lottery tickets over the course of 10 different days.

The tickets ranged in price from a dollar to $20 each and had a combined total of $1,609.

The owner of the store on Rockmart Highway reviewed the camera system and noticed Ledbetter taking the tickets.
