She is currently in a foster home with kids and does great, although due to her size she could knock over little ones.

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue — Jadon

Jadon is a happy, 3 year old, Lhaso Apso mix weighing under 13 pounds. He is a happy little dog who needs some type of daily activity. Another dog as a companion,or a family who will engage him in active playtime or someone who will take him on leash walks (at least a mile, please) to keep him happy and well behaved. After all this activity, this gorgeous little boy will become the perfect snuggle buddy.
He willingly goes into his crate at night after coaxing with a tiny treat, he sleeps through the night with no accidents. He also is crated when no one is home. He is not completely house trained, but is working hard on this (we use belly bands/male wraps when he is out of his crate). He does require routine grooming care. Jadon is searching for his final forever home where he can be loved by his very own family.

Well, hello! I’m Gustav…
I recently came to Paws and have quickly won the ladies hearts. My owner put me out to live in the backyard when my housemate had babies. She decided that 5 pups was just to much – so here I am. Seeking out a furr-ever family. Lets start with the obvious. I’m adorable. Maybe that sounds conceited, but hey – lets call it out I see it. I have a medium length brown coat and a super cute curled tail. I’m a tad more stout than a chihuahua so I don’t have that dainty, afraid to play with me body. And I have a killer smile. Like – if I was on TV, I’d be the one that they show with that sparkle off a tooth when I smile. Dazzling I think they call it.
However, I am in touch with my feelings. I’m really sweet with people. I did great with a 7yo girl that came to see me one day. I got to play with her for a little bit. It was so much fun! When you carry me, I like to tuck my head up onto your shoulder. It makes everyone say Awwwwwww and then they shower me with pets and kisses. Yessssss!!! I do have my playful side. I like to explore and go for walks (although my leash game is kinda weak – so you’ll need to help me sharpen that up). Kids are great as long as they are polite. Toys are a lot of fun too.”

Hey this weeks Pup is Oreo. Oreo is approximately 1.5 yrs old and just a great dog. He is a pit mix and is a medium size dog. He is high energy but really loving. Oreo’s a very smart guy and picks up on learning new things/commands. He likes to play a lot and is both kid and dog friendly. Oreo has shown no signs of aggression with people or other dogs. He is house trained and knows how to use a doggie door. Oreo came from a high kill shelter and was scheduled for euthanasia.
