The gentleman did not want to leave him outside in the freezing temperature, so he came to us to find him a great home. Her personality truly shines when she’s around people though – she LOVES to recieve attention. Her foster Mom says she demands to be held, and loves to be carried around like a doll. She is medium energy, and would love a family who will show her lots of love and affection!

PAWS in Middle Georgia — Jocko

This stunningly gorgeous pup is named Jocko. Almost a year ago his Mama Georgia gave birth to him and 10 other healthy puppies at Paws In Middle Georgia. Jocko was pulled at 2 weeks old to be bottle fed by a foster since he was not thriving amongst his siblings. That foster family adopted him, but he finds himself back at PAWS due to no fault of his own. 

One of his siblings had a DNA test which came back 45.5% Dutch Shepherd (his mama looked like a Dutch Shepherd), 22.9% Bull Terrier, 17.7% American Pit Bull Terrier, and 13.9% Dogo Argentino. 

This is a high energy, working breed dog that needs much exercise and mental stimulation. Some of his siblings that have thrived in their homes are running pals, hiking partners, farm hands, and have frequent doggy play dates. Help spread the word and find him his true forever family. Sweet and spunky Nova was found by a good Sam on a busy road. She was sickly, but with lots of TLC, she is healthy and ready for her very own family. Nova has been fostered with gentle, loving adult cats and kittens her age with similar playful PURRsonalities.

Nova’s favorite toys are chasing that red laser beam and anything that dangles and rolls that she can chase. She is a loving young kitty. We feel Nova would do best in a home with another young kitty to keep up with her playful spirit and keep her entertained. This beautiful young guys name obviously comes from his bubbly personality and outlook. Just a little over 3 months old, this young lad knows no home except for the shelter. Weighing in at 11 lbs, he is destined for bigger (and better) things and its just looking for a furr-ever family to call his own. He is a mixed breed, who believes that labels don’t make the dog.

Champagne will demand your full attention, but it’s a commitment well worth making. This loving guy may be bashful at first, but once she warms up to you, she’ll be your loyal friend for life.
