Etowah Valley Humane Society — Jellybean
(770) 383-3338
Meet Jellybean, a loving and gentle 19 month old chap. This cheerful, thirty-pound baby has the warmest and softest of hugs. By gently leaning against you, Jellybean will always make sure you know he’s there to comfort and support you.
Jellybean does love to soak up attention and will often bring her favorite toy to you and patiently wait expectantly for some play time. This loving girl may be bashful at first, but once she warms up to you, she’ll be your loyal friend for life.
Jellybean is looking for a loving family where she’ll get lots of warmth and attention, play time, cuddles, pets and affection from her new guardian. Visitation is by appointment only with an approved application on file. Click here for more information on Chloe or any of our current residents, or click here to email us.

The Paw Project of Georgia — Virginia
(470) 789-PAWS
Meet Virginia! She came to us from a rural animal shelter where she was about to give birth. She had two puppies but unfortunately they did not make it. She was depressed and needed attention, but she perked up due to the love and care of her foster family. We think she is a Chinese Crested mix because she is a “bald beauty”. She is a certified lap dog and loves extra attention.
Virginia is not a fan of other dogs and should go to a home without other pets. She is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations and ready to go to her forever home!
If you are interested in adopting Virginia, please email us by clicking here, or check her out on our website by clicking here.

Barkville Dog Rescue — Mac Davis
(770) 846-8946
When you’re this handsome, it’s hard to be humble, and no one knows that better than Mac here. Mac Davis is a handsome lab mix, born in January of 2017, and is a larger boy – weighing 75lbs. This obedient boy is house trained, crate trained, and is learning his basic commands. He has a medium energy level and is dog friendly (best with females similar in size to him).
Chase is Mac’s favorite game to play with his doggy friends! Mac Davis came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after he had been a stray roaming the streets for months. When he was finally caught, sadly no owner came forward. He is a cautious boy, who is not a fan or storms or fireworks. He is a flight risk and will need an owner who keeps a GPS collar on him at all times. This sweet boy would love a forever family that has another friendly dog, a securely fenced yard, and lots of love to give! Mac is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about him, please email us at [email protected]. If you would like to adopt Mac Davis, please submit an application for him by clicking here.
BarkVille is located in Roswell, GA and our dogs are available for foster/adoption in the Greater Atlanta area. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue — Cheems
(877) 404-5874
Meet Cheems, an extremely handsome, 10 month-old, shepherd puppy, with a heartwarming tale of resilience and hope. I was discovered in a bush at a construction company, but luck was on my side as a caring soul decided to foster me right away, sparing me from spending any time at the shelter. At first, I was quite scared, but it didn’t take long for me to warm up to my newfound love and trust in humans. Being a puppy is an exciting adventure, and I’m embracing it with gusto. My love for toys and playtime knows no bounds, and I’m always up for a fun time with my favorite playthings.
While I may be a bit nervous initially, I warm up pretty quickly. I’m highly motivated by treats, making training an enjoyable experience for both of us. As my foster family will tell you, I’m 100 % potty trained with no accidents! The crate is my safe haven, where I feel secure and content. I’m crate trained and do quite well overnight and when my humans are away. A crate in my new home would be wonderful, as it provides a sense of comfort and security.
I’m a social butterfly when it comes to other dogs, and I’d be over the moon to have a dog sibling who can help me better understand the art of canine communication and friendship. It will also help to release some of my puppy energy! You should also know I am adaptable and would be happy as an only pet too. An active family would be ideal. My friendly nature extends to cats as long as they are dog savvy, and I would also be a great companion for kids above toddler age. I’m a bit bouncy, just like Tigger, so little kids might need to be mindful of that.
So, after reading all about me, how about filling out an application asap. I can’t wait to find my forever family. Click here if you thinks that might just be you.

PAWS in Middle Georgia — Lyla
(478) 227-8805
Lyla came in with a checkered past. While we don’t know what happened to his girl, we do know it wasn’t good. She went straight into a foster home and her foster mom worked hard to help her overcome her past. She has some quirks that might take some time, so her furr-ever home will need to be patient with her and love her at the step she is at until she is ready to take the next one.
This beautiful girl is roughly 2 years old and is house/crate trained. She gets along with dogs her own size (both genders), but hasn’t really met any dogs bigger than her yet. Lyla thinks toys are fantastic and really enjoys getting to play. She also really enjoys getting to spend some time outside – but her days of living out there are over. She lets you know when she needs or wants something with her howl-y call to say Hey! Don’t forget about me!! Lyla is not destructive with her toys or her home.
This is where we know Lyla has suffered at the hands of humans. She is learning that meals are coming on a regular basis, but currently needs to be fed separate from other pets in the home. Lyla doesn’t seem to know that its OK to come into the rooms with people, so her foster was carrying her into various spaces and spending time with her in hopes of her learning that people would love to have her around!
She’s gotten better about walking on a leash and going on walks in that big scary world out there. Again, patience has done wonders with her. Lyla would love a new home for the holidays! Maybe a teenager or two that would shower her with love and let her cuddle up in their rooms with them. Cuz did I mention that this girl likes to cuddle? Once you are a friend, you are a snuggle buddy. She’s also the perfect size at about 35lb so she won’t squish you if she gets on your lap for some lovin!!
If this beautiful girl is tugging at your heart strings and you want to help her complete her journey of healing, drop an application today to meet this sweetheart! Put in your applications today to come meet this gorgeous girl! To begin the application process for Kirby, please click here to email us, or click here to see more of her bio.

Paw Prints Animal Rescue — Paige
(919) 772-9107
This week, we’re introducing you to Paige, she’s a boxer mix and just as sweet as can be. Paige gets along with the other dogs here once she gets used to them usually a day or so, however not small dogs. She loves to run outside and go get anything you throw, but she’s still working on bringing it back. Paige is about a year old and has been spayed and is up to date on all of her requirements. She’s a bit of a diva as you can see in her photo.
Paige would make an excellent companion for someone who needs to fill that empty void in their heart. If you would like to submit an application on Paige, or any Paw Prints pet, click here.
