Woman charged possession of drugs past the guard line

A 59-year-old Rome woman is accused of having drugs while at the Floyd County Jail.

According to Jail records:

Carolyn Denise Boyce has two rectangular-shaped, orange strips suspected to be Suboxone, which contains buprenorphine, a Schedule III drug.

Boyce is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drugs past the guard line at the jail.

Two arrested for meth possession in Lindale

Two people were arrested on drug charges Thursday on Park Avenue.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

36-year-old Jessica Ingram and 39-year-old Christopher Clay Barger Sr. were found with suspected methamphetamine.

The vehicle they were in also had an expired tag, according to the report.
