The Christmas Season in Lindale got into full swing Saturday with a number of events to celebrate.

It all started with the annual Christmas Parade

Following the parade, the star lighting festival featured arts and crafts, food, and a performance by Pepperell Primary 2nd graders

Then, just after 6 p.m., the big moment as the star was lit.
