Public Animal Welfare Services (P.A.W.S.) along with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office would like to invite you to the Toys for Microchips event on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, 2526 New Calhoun Highway, Rome. This will be a drive-thru microchip event for cats and dogs.
The cost for a microchip will be one (1) new, unwrapped toy for a child between the ages of 1 to 15 years old; per microchip. This is a great opportunity to help a local family in your community all while protecting your pet in the unfortunate event the pet should become lost.
Please note, all cats will need to be in carriers. All scared and/or aggressive dogs will need to have a muzzle. P.A.W.S. and Floyd County Sheriff’s Office reserve the right to refuse service on any animal they feel is not safe or is not healthy enough to receive a microchip.
