The Gordon County Sherriff’s Office has reported that a high-speed chase resulted in two Tennessee residents’ arrest on January 4th.

According to reports, around 3 PM, Bartow County authorities initiated a pursuit of a vehicle traveling north on Interstate 75.

The chase extended into Gordon County where deputies brought it to a safe stop near Exit 317.

No injuries were reported to officers, civilians, or the vehicle’s occupants.

A search of the car revealed illegal drugs and related materials.

The occupants, 23-year-old Devonte Brown and 23-year-old Ronqusha Groves (both of Madison Tennessee) were taken into custody.

Both face charges of Trafficking Schedule II Controlled Substances.

The Gordon Sherriff’s Office also noted that Brown has been charged with multiple traffic offenses and additional violations in Bartow County.
