-News Release-

Kindermusik of Berry College has been named a Top Program by Kindermusik International, the world’s leading provider of music-based education for infants, toddlers and young children.

Kathryn Nobles, a Berry adjunct instructor of music, is a Kindermusik accredited educator and the owner of Berry’s Kindermusik program. The organization has been serving northwest Georgia families since 1989, 200 families a year. Weekly classes are offered in the studio of the music building on the Berry campus, intergenerational classes at The Spires at Berry College retirement home and classes at the Berry College Child Development Center.

“It is a joy and privilege to share the joy of music with families in our community on the Berry College campus,” Nobles said. “Kindermusik is the front door to Berry College as families begin their educational journey through music.”

The Kindermusik Top Program award recognizes excellence in spreading the lasting developmental benefits through Kindermusik’s curricula.

“These accredited educators and their teams work tirelessly to not only reach more families with the power of shared musical play, but to teach parents and caregivers how to use it after class so that the learning continues,” CEO at Kindermusik International Scott Kinsey said. “Their ability to continuously connect and facilitate these joyful ‘a-ha’ moments is something that really sets them apart.”

Kindermusik has locations across the U.S and in several other counties.
