The Rome City School Board is expected to place the proposed 2026 school calendar on First Reading when it meets on Tuesday.

The board will also approve meeting dates for the coming year and hear a family engagement presentation.

The board will also review financial reports and recognize student-athletes and others for their accomplishments.

East Central will be the focus of the school spotlight.

The caucus will be held at 4:00 p.m. followed by the regular meeting at 5:45 p.m. at the Rome City Schools College and Career Academy on Veterans Memorial Highway.
