Meet Marnie, a loving and gentle 7 month beauty. This cheerful, thirty-pound baby girl has the warmest and softest of hugs. By gently leaning against you, Marnie will always make sure you know he’s there to comfort and support you.

    Marnie does love to soak up attention and will often bring her favorite toy to you and patiently wait expectantly for some play time. She doesn’t mind being the center of attention, but who can blame her, as beautiful as she is? This loving girl may be bashful at first, but once she warms up to you, she’ll be your loyal friend for life.

   Marnie is looking for a loving family where she’ll get lots of warmth and attention, play time, cuddles, pets and affection from her new guardian. Queso is a healthy, 10lbs, 1 year old dog that is ready for his furever home. We are accepting applications for adoption! 

He is an adorable fur-baby with a sweet personality. He is playful, attention loving, and gentle once he warms up. He is shy to start.

He has is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, is current on heartworm and flea/tick preventative, and is neutered.

Barkville Dog Rescue — Cash

Cash is a handsome tan and white Pitbull/Hound mix. This sweet boy is only 3yr old, and currently weighs 65lbs. He has an expressive face which always has a handsome smile plastered on it! Cash is very affectionate and loves to be with his people. He is easy going, and although he is crate & house trained, he can be trusted out of his crate. Cash does great with everyone he meets, including kids. He is medium/low energy, he enjoys playing or being a couch potato. He would be fine in a home with or without a fenced yard. 

Cash is a loyal and loving boy who will make a wonderful addition to a variety of households – a family with kids, single person, or an active or not very active family. Cash is dog and cat friendly, but can be possessive of “his” items (toys, food, etc.) around other animals. He is house trained, and does respond well to corrections. He will need additional leash training to improve his skills. Cash is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Aphrodite is as loving and beautiful as the goddess herself! Aphrodite loves cuddling up and thinks that she’s a lap dog. Her foster mom says that “she is a snuggly velcro dog who will wrap herself around you like a blanket.” While she inhabits her divine-namesake poise, Aphrodite is a complete goofball who will throw her toys up in the air to play, sit under you when you do yoga poses, flop down on her back for some belly rubs, and has been known to completely miss a treat when it’s thrown to her. Her foster affectionately calls her “Potato” since she’s pure, down-home comfort.

Aphrodite is super smart and learns quickly. She is fully house-trained, crate trained (and runs right into her crate when you say “place!”), and knows several other commands. She enjoys long walks, meeting new people, and playtime (after which she is ready for a long nap)! Meet this one of a kind beauty and see for yourself how truly special she is!

This is our handsome Wilbur. He came to be with us because his family had to move  and couldn’t take him, his mom and younger sisters with them. They searched for a home for them, but was unable to find one. His sisters have been adopted & he is waiting on his forever home.

Wilbur was born around 4-1-23. Wilbur is the most gentlest cat & will let you hold him for long periods of time. He’s so content in your arms or just sitting next to you. He also loves to play with his friends or sit in the window and watch the people pass by. He has the softest fur  and loves to be petted.

The Pawprint Pack — Dexter

Meet Dexter.

Dexter came from an owner who passed away. A family member arrived at the house only to find her beloved family member no longer living. Only then to realize she had no idea what to with the 9 dogs living in deplorable conditions. We then were reached out to help.

We couldn’t take many but fell in love when we saw Dexter. This guy has been through it. His whole world has turned upside down. Upon his arrival, we learned that he has hardly any socialization skills, is still working on house and crate training, has no vetting (but is getting it done soon), and is paralyzed with fear. Because of this fear, he reacts by growling, showing teeth, and can be a little nippy. So now we are asking for a foster to adopt so that this lil 30lb guy can land safely in a home and have some very much needed decompression time.

Dexter is dog friendly and kid friendly. He is around 2 years old and again around 30 pounds. He needs someone who can love him and be patient with him. He will require time!! If you’re interested in meeting this boy, please email us clicking here!

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue — Gentle Spirit

Meet Gentle Spirit, a beautiful 4-year-old who truly lives up to her name. Rescued from euthanasia, Spirit was timid and shy at first, but now she’s a healthy 75-pound sweetheart looking for a forever home.

She’s docile and quiet, but also playful and goofy. Although she takes some time to warm up to new dogs, she’s learned to play with smaller ones and would benefit from a calm and friendly furry companion. Spirit walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides to places like Starbucks and Bruster’s, where she gets yummy treats. She’s house-trained and sleeps in the bedroom with her foster family, but she doesn’t like crates much. Spirit loves being around people and would make a great home officemate. She’s respectful of cats and won’t chase them unless they run. Spirit would do well in a home with older kids and a fenced yard where she can chase birds and squirrels. With treats and patience, she quickly warms up to strangers.

The best part of waking up…. Is Maxwell in your lap!!! (he once would have fit in a cup but he’s moving into cooler status) This handsome boy came in with his siblings as bottle babies when his poor mama passed away. Even with round the clock feedings and care, he is the sole survivor of his family.

Maxwell, so named due to the amount of coffee his foster ingested during those late night feedings, has beautiful markings. He relied on his strong will to survive and still maintains it haha.

Trinket is a gentle young kitten who has blossomed into a fun, confident and very loving kitty. When she came to Paw Prints, she was absolutely terrified. With love and patience, she has done a 180 and now seeks out her humans gentle pets and playtime. Trinket’s favorite toys are the Cat Dancer (and this girl can dance) and any type of spring.

She will fetch and bring them back to you to roll on the floor for her to chase again. Trinket is a lover and a gentle soul who just needs a family who will give her time to gain confidence in a new environment where she can feel loved. Don’t overlook this kitten.
