One man was killed, and another seriously injured in a single-vehicle wreck near Rockmart Monday evening.

According to the Georgia State Patrol:

22-year-old Randall Brown of Rockmart lost control of his Chevy Cobalt in a curve on Morgan Valley Road.

The vehicle crossed the center line, traveled off the roadway, overturned, and struck a fence.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger, 22-year-old Jonathan Coats, was airlifted to Kennestone Hospital.

Neither man was wearing a seatbelt.
