One person was killed and four others were injured in a single-vehicle wreck on I-75 in Gordon County Sunday.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, a 2020 Cadillac Escalade, driven by 41-year old Meghan Underwood of Arrington, Tennessee, left the roadway near mile marker 320.
The vehicle ran into a ditch before traveling up an embankment where it vaulted, striking a concrete bridge support pillar.
It struck two more support pillars before rotating and coming to an uncontrolled rest.
An 11-year old girl was ejected from the vehicle and died.
Underwood, a 16-year old passenger, and two 13-year old passengers were transported to Hamilton Medical Center.
