The Georgia Department of Public Health is reporting that 97 Floyd County residents have now tested positive for COVID-19.
There have been three deaths, an 80-year old man, a 65-year old female, and a 75-year old male, all had underlying medical conditions.
Statewide, as of 7 p.m. Wednesday, there were 10,189 confirmed cases statewide with 369 deaths.
2,082 are hospitalized.
The rest have either recovered or are quarantined at home.
Bartow County has 195 cases and 12 deaths.
Gordon County has 26 cases and there have been three deaths.
Polk County has 22 cases, no deaths, and Chattooga County has four cases and one death.
Remember, these numbers reflect the county of residence not where they are hospitalized.
