A 45-year old Rockmart man was arrested Tuesday on warrants charging him with terroristic threats and acts, criminal trespass and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

According to the warrants, David Lamar Cook threatened to burn a tree in front of the victim’s Rome residence for no reason.

He was in possession of a torch and lighter fluid while he was making threats against the victim.

Cook also allegedly damaged the curtains in the home and scratched the victim during the altercation.
