Rome’s Homelessness Task Force met Thursday morning to discuss some actions that are already taking place to assist the homeless and plan for the future.

Dr. Courtney Cash with Restoration Rome proposed looking at the 23 actions proposed in a 2009 plan and selecting eight that can be implemented right now.

Dr. Cash suggested a membership-based HOPE Alliance in which each organization would describe the services they bring to the table.

Each organization would have a representative and they would be able to distribute and strategically apply resources according to a unified strategic plan.
