A 51-year old Rome man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly firing a gun inside his Alfred Avenue residence while a child was close by.
According to Floyd County Jail records, the bullet stopped just a few feet away from where the child was standing in the hallway of the home.
Christopher Thomas Fricks was charged with 1st-degree cruelty to children, reckless conduct and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
